The InnerSource Commons Foundation (ISC), the world’s foremost community for InnerSource practitioners, today announced Russell Rutledge as its Executive Director. Russell is stepping into the role of Executive Director after being a long-time contributor to the InnerSource Commons. Russell has a wealth of InnerSource experience, having run InnerSource practices in organizations such as Nike and WellSky.

“I am delighted to have the opportunity to serve as Executive Director for InnerSource Commons. I look forward to working closely with the board and community to grow InnerSource Commons and help increase the number of InnerSource practitioners globally,” said Russell Rutledge.

“We are excited to have Russell Rutledge step into the role of Executive Director to help bring InnerSource Commons to the next stage of its journey. Russ has played a huge role in running the InnerSource Commons Foundation for many years. His considerable InnerSource experience, plus his proven community-building capabilities, make him the perfect candidate for the role,” said Daniel Izquierdo, President of the InnerSource Commons.

“We would also like to thank Clare Dillon for her great work over the past number of years as our inaugural Executive Director. Clare established our Foundation operations and oversaw huge growth in the community. We wish her the best in pursuing her PhD research on the topic of InnerSource.
